About

I'm Satish Bajagain, a full-stack and machine learning engineer based in Lalitpur, Nepal. I graduated from Tribhuvan University's B.Sc. CSIT program at Kathford International College of Engineering and Management in Kathmandu.
Radiology engineering and machine learning
At HOPMEDS HEALTH TECH PRIVATE LIMITED, I develop radiology software and medical-imaging ML workflows. My work spans frontend and backend systems, model pipelines, and PACS integration using DICOM, Orthanc and OHIF. It connects the work of developing models to the engineering needed to store, retrieve and work with imaging data.
Alongside that role, I completed an independent sleep-stage study of generalization across people; publication remains pending. I also completed a GPT-from-scratch learning implementation. My learning notebook documents the code, derivations and experiments behind that progression.
My earlier roles at Avana Game Studio and Niyalo Creatives developed my signal-processing, simulation and software-engineering experience. The full record, including practical teaching at Kathford, is on the Experience page.
Direction
I want to study how neural activity represents information, and how to decode useful signals from it. My interests include EEG, brain–computer interfaces, neural dynamics, and biologically inspired computation. I am currently learning about spiking neural networks.
Longer term, I hope to contribute to neurotechnology research and help build that capacity in Nepal. Research interests
